Where the Wind Reveals the Herds, 2021

In 2021 summer, I traveled across Xinjiang by car, documenting the vast landscapes along the way.

“The sky stretches vast, the plains unending, the wind parts the grass, revealing cattle and sheep.”

The ancient verse drifts like breath across the steppe, capturing a land where silence speaks.

On the grassland, a shepherd stands alone, yet never solitary, for the wind hums beside him, and the herds move like living echoes of the earth’s calm heart.
